So, things are going ridiculously well at the Media Bureau! We're basically screening like crazy right now in preparation for the Philadelphia Independent Film Festival (taking place in Northern Liberties from June 24th through the 27th, for anyone interested *wink wink nudge nudge*) and then blogging about some of the shinier entries we've gotten. It is a glorious thing to be doing for SIP. (FUN FACT! I helped write the entry about My Kidnapper! Like...four different people wrote that entry! It's hilarious. Good thing we all get along and are capable of collaborating. I guess if we weren't we wouldn't be doing film-related things!))
I think soon we're going to be reaching out to local (and not-so-local) contacts on Festival-related business, which I'm still a little nervous for, but I'm sure I'll survive. D:
(Oh, and wanna know what's horrible? So, I'm helping out with prep for the Festival, and I won't even be able to go this year! D: STUPID RUSSIA! Oh well. I'll be living in Philly for the next four or so years, so I can go another year. *3*)
